About me
My name is Tommy and have a love for using creative problem solving to help those around me. I founded Careers+Conversions as a hybrid project that supports two of my deepest passions - digital marketing and career coaching. These two endeavors may seem like an odd combination, but at the end of the day they're both really about strategic thinking, experimentation, communicating value, and empathy.
I have 8 years of digital marketing experience working for a wide spectrum of brands of various sizes and industries. I've delivered consistent results while specializing in organic social, paid media, content marketing, and conversion rate optimization. This broad background allows me to utilize data from multiple sources to understand the big picture and identify opportunities for optimization that deliver growth.
My personal hobbies/interests include playing guitar, producing electronic music, biking/hiking, nature photography, ping pong, reading, and trying new restaurants. I've been fortunate to have the opportunity to live in some exciting cities including Chicago, Denver, and now Austin.

What makes you passionate about digital marketing?I love the unlimited potential that a high-quality digital marketing program can have on any service or product. Also, it's just fun and interesting work. Part art, part science, and lots of social psychology make for a rewarding career. Plus, it's not something you can ever fully master, and I enjoy constantly learning and upskilling my abilities.

How much do your career coaching services cost?As of now, all of my career coaching services are 100% FREE. Why would I provide free career services? Simple - I recognize the massive positive impact that finding a better job can have on the quality of life experienced by an individual. I received fantastic advice/assistance from some very kind souls early in my career and now I'm looking to give back and pay it forward.

What can I expect to gain from working with you on my career?I strive to help individuals find a job that they will actually love and spend the least amount of time and effort doing so. Job searching can be a time-consuming headache that just leads to another position that you could care less about. My goal is to find an opportunity that is aligned with your natural strengths and interests - one that you'll look forward to every day like I do with my current job.

Why should I trust you to provide career coaching/advice to me?I came from humble beginnings. I didn't go to a huge well-known university and spent my first 24 years living in a smaller city that didn't have a ton of substantial growth opportunities in my field. I made the most of every situation I've been in and developed careers strategies that have allowed me to land amazing positions at competitive companies in cities like Chicago and New York City. And not a single opportunity was handed to me or found through networking. I applied directly on company websites and implemented my unique job searching methodology to land what I consider to be dream jobs for me.
